I think they had a lot of loans last year and players whose contracts were up, then a couple were poached by other clubs. Think I read somewhere that they needed around 15 new players just to have a 25 man squad that wasn't made up of U23s.

Maybe their strategy is one where they sign loads of players for reasonable fees.. blood them in the PL... then if they go down they will be experienced players so will have a higher sell on value... hence a profit? It's just daft that they don't have a shirt sponsor yet. Why not put a charity on there for free?

The others aren't on 1 year deals. Lingz will be one of those players like Alli who bounce around lower PL teams as their boat sailed ages ago. He'll sign for whoever gets promoted again. I'm just gutted they didn't sign fist bumps as part of their 20 man royal rumble draft. Shows how **** he is.
