Much needed result... some exciting moves....still looking shaky in defence ...and not controlling games
Glad this was an evening game and I was able to keep myself fortified. 4.00 pm games here are a little too early to start.
Well not sure we deserved to win but who cares right now ! Love an injury time winner . Rob with inspired subs .
According to the BBC we have been at the Vic for 10000 years. I will admit there are some games that seem to have lasted that long. "Watford celebrated the 100th centenary of their home ground."
You probably had an easier time getting a stream than we did getting in to the ground. More problems with this silly-arse QR code entry system. Wished Sammy, Vince and Tommy all the best from all you who couldn’t be there. Three at the back again left colossal gaps for Middlesbrough to exploit, and they didn’t take long to do just that. We looked very open for long periods. Boro were well drilled, better than us, and we were lucky not to concede at least 2 more. Daniel Bachmann made one particularly good reaction save. Their poor finishes saved us. Both our goals left us watching for the reaction of the officials, as a result of Saturday, I suppose. The second one was great because Bayo was in just the right spot, but I suppose because he was in such space, we were convinced he must’ve been offside! A super 3 points.
Highlights if you haven't already seen them. https://www.skysports.com/football/watford-vs-middlesbrough/report/467900
Congratulations on the win ... out of interest, how is Hamza getting on? ...see you now have Kourtney Hause too ... some quality in those two
Morning after.... a much needed three points in the bag..... But much improvement needed ...we let Boro have a hatful of chances...... plus of course without Sarr- Pedro we would have looked very ordinary
Hi Fosse, I think he’s doing very well. He’s committed, has vision and a good touch. I like him. Hause is a unit, won every header (not hyperbole) and pushed play forward without unnecessary delay. Like him too! Now then, as Hornets we probably have a question for you. How’d you like our Brendan?
