Encouraged by the improvement in the second half. We showed some grit to get back into the game.

We need to learn how to play for a full 90 minutes. Too often hear we were crap first half and improved second.

Meslier kicked it away so many times, Llorente is a calamity, I'm ****ting it every time he gets the ball, Harrison was piss poor, his corners were simply awful. Everton are a terrible side, they were time wasting from the very first minute. How there were only 3 mins injury time is beyond belief, Pickford took 3 minutes to take every kick out. We should have won, Joffy missed a golden opportunity.

Meslier - 5. Poor distribution nor helped by Llorente giving it him on his wrong foot every time but made a great save at 1-1.

Kristensen - 5. Poor first half but once he decided that he didn't like Gordon he perked up a bit.

Koch - 5. Awful passing. Did OK in the air.

Llorente - 1. Thought he was dreadful. Caused the goal, put us under with Poor passes to Meslier on his wrong foot. Hoofed it out of play too often. Didn't shout for a free header from a corner. Completely missed the ball at one point. Piss poor and was a complete liability all night.

Struijk - 7. Best left back at the club despite not being a left back.

Roca - 7. Grew in to the game as it went on and was dominant at the end. Just quietly goes about his business and keeps the possession ticking over.

Adams - 7. Typical all action display. Very Batty-esque tonight.

Aaronson - 7. Fluttered in and out of the game but never stops. Assist for the goal and a pest all game. Probably should have scored just after half time.

Sinisterra - 7. Starved of the ball first half but was the one who produces flashes of quality. Great goal 2nd half and hopefully he remains fit all season as he is looking a match winner.

Harrison - 8. Some awful corners but the workrate, constant harassing of the full back and some decent crossing earns him MOM in my opinion. Lacked a bit of end product but on another day he could have had a couple.

Rodrigo - 6. Should have scored from a Harrison cross first half. Dislocated shoulder and could be out for a few weeks depending on the damage.

    Subs.

Gelhardt - 6. Outmuscled by Tarkowski and Coady but stuck at it and eventually wore them down to get two great chances before being replaced himself.

Klich - 7. Becoming a super sub injecting a bit of class for his brief cameo appearances.

James - 4. Just get rid at this point. I'll drive him to Spurs myself.

Bamford - 6. Looked lively. Held the ball up significantly better than Gelhardt did.

Much better 2nd half but they were poor. they just wanted to camp in their own half and play on the break. We just didn't have the creativity to break them down they were just waiting till we made a mistake, that's the only time they wanted to attack. It seemed like the old days in the championship when the opposition attack us in which tonight Everton did very little of but everything looked dangerous it was heart in the mouth stuff at times while we huff and puff with plenty of the ball but lacked the noose to create opportunities. Have to give them some credit though as it can't be easy when a bus is parked and you have to find a way through. Meslier needs to concentrate more on his kicking his laidback approach is creeping back in he put us in some very dangerous positions tonight with crazy balls if that was a city or Liverpool they would of probably taken advantage.
If we don't get a striker in now we are fooked Rodrigo's injury is going to take time Bamford is always going to be 50/50. I like Gelhardt but he aint going to lead our line every week he will get minutes but he still aint a 90 min man.

And that's the most important part thing to remember we're 5 points ahead of where we were at this point last season.

I know the defence were tired by the time he came on and he's obviously not match fit but Paddy does offer us a lot more up front. Joffy has flashes of brilliance and he gets his shot away but he always seems rushed. He's rarely open like Paddy was a couple of times late on.
Gutted we only got a point against them but they could have scored late on so it could have been worse.
Agree about Llorente, he's always got an error in him. I thought Pascal had a good game considering who he was up against.
Adams and Roca had a tough task against Banana and Iwobi. They've got a few players who can hurt you so it wasn't easy. I thought Rasmus was better tonight.
Harrison was double teamed all night. They've got a solid defence that's very tough to break down and I thought Pickford did well.
Meslier's kicking needs work unless he was aiming for pink shirts. At least Marsche lets him put his foot through it.
I think Sinisterra is going to be a quality addition.

Hopefully the last 2 games buck the hierarchy in to bringing in the talent we need. Wouldn't be surprised if we go in for a midfielder now I know we've been linked with an African lad at Ajax. Let's not forget we need a striker and a LB.

Only Fat Frank could set his team up to defend with 11 behind the ball playing supposed relegation candidates. Either that or he's giving us way more respect than we thought.

I think Pascal is getting better every game. Obviously it's a new position for him but he's getting there

Could have/should have won, but I'm relieved that we didn't lose. Five games in and we're sitting fifth - I'd have taken that at the start of the season.

Reasons to be cheerful: Sinisterra looks as though he could be a great addition to the squad. Early days, but he has the air of real quality about him. Good to see Paddy back also, even though he's obviously ring rusty. But even when he doesn't score he leads the press and his intelligent runs create space for others. If he can stay fit he could have a significant impact for us this season.

On this evening's showing, I'm most concerned about Llorente who, for the second consecutive game, too often looked like a catastrophe waiting to happen.

Then get another CB if we're going to play Pascal at LB. Cooper is unreliable and Llorente isn't that cracking either

about how I saw it. Though not so sure on ras… where is this marauding fullback we bought. Still looks a poor man’s ayling to me.

I think they know meslier can’t pass water so we’ve given up and told him to hoof it. Would work better if we didn’t have a bunch of dwarves to hoof it to. The few times he tried to pick some out he gave the ball away. Most of their promising moments came from a meslier clearance.

I know we all love joffy but he has to hit the target with his first chance and he really should be burying the second.

going to disagree with emu and give my MOM to Adams. Thought he was everywhere. Harrison had one of his, nothing-quite-works nights.
