A win from behind - check A strong defensive performance to keep the lead - check A confidence boosting goal for Adarma - check All the new signings looking good - check Steak for dinner - check A BJ for afters - oh well, there's always the next match
He's also constantly directing traffic at the back. Even often when he's the primary defender. Who knew that the leader we needed in defense was a 20 year old.
Bella-Kotchap is my new favourite player Che was brilliant up front Adam Armstrong brilliant Lavia so good- hopefully back soon JWP’s energy at the end was ridiculous! (Ralph In)
I think saints did given that I am sure there were articles at the time (I think on the OS) about how he had played more games than you would expect for a central defender of his age
Saints have picked up 7 points from losing positions… Are they going to start dropping that stat soon? Or will we always hear about dropped points regardless
Wow, they looked drained at the end but didn't panic when defending at the end. Hope Romeu doesn't go if Lavia is out long term.
I dont wish to get carried away or make any wild claims but... ABK is already better than VVD was for us
Fantastic result. I think Chelsea actually played better than United did on Saturday but this time we managed to find the net. Lavia was walking round the pitch with the others at the end without any noticable discomfort so hopefully it's just a twinge. I've got to say we look so much more solid with a good GK and ABK alongside Salisu. Chuffed for Adam as well. He deserved a goal tonight. Moussa is turning into something of a cult hero very quickly.
Expecting a lot of plastic fans to be saying that they always liked Saints. Their second team. Where were they when we were rubbish?
Anyone got any other foreign languages up their sleeve for the Wolves match thread?! Surely only fair it's in Portuguese...
