Other than the spell in which we scored, it wasnt the best performance of the season Kelvin Davis - 7, So Solid in the Saints goal again Frazer Richardson - 6, Not quite the player he has been Jose Fonte - 7, solid at the back, although all defence could have done better for the goal Jos Hooiveld - 7, solid, great goal, few dodgy passes back but otherwise ok Dan Harding - 6, rusty 1st half, improved 2nd half to offer a threat down the left Adam Lallana - 6, wasn't his best display, although lots of energy Morgan Schneiderlin - 7, good performance although was exhausted by the end Dean Hammond - 6, looked good 1st half, exhausted by the end Richard Chaplow - 6, great 1st half, wasnt so effective in the 2nd Guly - 7, got the vital assists that were needed Rickie Lambert - 6, looked jaded sadly Steve De Ridder - 7, looked good, why dont we start him! David Connolly - 6, ran but didnt do alot Jack Cork - N/A, not enough time to stamp authority Referee - 4 Wotsit the Peterborough goalie - 10 Thoughts? Your ratings, post below
Guly has three assists and two goals in the last three games and he hasn't played ninety minutes in any of them!
The person who came up with the idea of shouting each player's first name whenever they took a touch - 10
Guly had a great first half because my cousin called "Guuly, Guuuly, Guuuly" for me so he would hear first half and think I was there.....always works if he hears me, he has a good game.....
Saintsfan4life, at least you didn't under score Fox this week and gave a fair review of Harding Overall, I agree with those!!!
Think the sending off changed the game. We let the pace drop and found it hard to step it up. Three points, blue line, move on.
what has the world come to ! glad you agree, im not biased when it comes to the ratings, i just say how i saw it
Davis - 7 Richardson - 7 Fonte - 7 Hooiveld - 7 Harding - 6 Chaplow - 7 Hammond - 6 Morgan - 7 Lallana - 5 Guly - 8 Lambert - 7 De Ridder - 8 Connolly - 4 Not quite sure I can give Guly my Saints MOTM, based on the fact he only played 45 minutes (though if it was possible to share it between Guly and De Ridder, considering they shared the 90 minutes, then I would). So by default I give it to Lambert. But even his performance hardly deserved it. Thought Lallana was very poor - he was the only player I was disappointed with at half time. And when Connolly came on, we might as have been playing with 10 men just as Posh were. He offered so little, that I halfed hope that Adkins would sub he back off again when Cork was preparing to come on.
Lallana won't be 100% match fit until after the international break I'm not suprised that he hasn't made as much of an impact on the 2 Boro games then he normally would do.
