He actually said we "play" 10 percent. Given that we play 10 percent of the games (the word influence was then brought in to muddy the waters), it's clear this is true.

No I'm not. His original assertion was in response to someone saying we are going to play a big part in the league this year. He said "we will play a small part - 10% to be exact." We will play in 10% of the games, but we won't play a 10% part in the league. We will play just under a 5% part in the league by the time you take into account the opposition and officials. The whole of the participation in the league will add up to 100%. We will play our part in that.

Using the same logic, if every team plays 10% part (20 teams × 10 = 200%) then surely there are 760 games, because 20 teams each playing 38 times isn't = 380. Come on guys, back me here. DPP out!
