    Feel sorry for him tbh.

What do they expect when they play Arsenal, City and Liverpool within their first 4 games?

He beat Villa, he won the only winnable game with their **** squad.

Hope they drop like a stone.

Worst away ground I've been to.

    I didn't drink.

Been chatting about it on our board. Think general feeling is he was sacked cos he kept wanting money for transfers and board weren’t keen to give it to him, as well as constantly slagging off his own team as not good enough.

He's just telling it as it is. He got them promoted, and he's not been given the resources necessary to make a good push in the prem.

Problem is, he came up with Fulham few years ago. Spunked shed load of money and went down. So can see why they are maybe hesitant.

If that's the case why not sack him immediately before the prem started and get someone else in?

Why wait until 4 games have past where he got as much points as can be expected with the squad he has?

Why let him start the season if they didn't have enough faith in him to allow him any funds to strengthen?

It's either a lack of ambition or just poor ownership behaviour.

They gave him a job, he got their team to the PL, they gave him nothing to spend, and his team got thumped by the big boys in the league, and he's obviously annoyed by the lack of faith from the ownership.

They should have sacked him before the season or gave him funds, not just wait for him to get destroyed by bigger teams to give them an excuse to sack him.

There has probably been growing tension behind the scenes during the transfer window and recent results have just exacerbated things.

He hadn't given TV interviews criticising the owners before the season started

I think it’s cos he’s come out and slagged off him whole team as well as bad mouthing his bosses.

if you were a manager at your company and you went into a meeting and went, oh my team? Yeah they’re all ****, not good enough to do their jobs. Oh any my bosses? Yeah they’re useless and won’t do a thing about it.

can’t imagine you’d last too long either.

He simply has the balls to do what most don't. I respect him for that.

If they owners are just sitting there doing nothing to support the club then he's right to do so.

What does he have to lose? To sit there and try and keep a **** side up with no funds whilst your relegation rivals are stronger and spending cash with ambition?

He knows his current squad will almost certainly get relegated, so if he gets sacked, at least he doesn't have another imminent relegation on his CV that wouldn't necessarily be any fault of his own.

He has a championship squad that look like they'll be the whipping boys of this division, and if the owners will not fund him and support him because they lack faith, then he has nothing to lose, he may as well go down swinging and make the fat ****ers in charge look like the ****s they are.

The club have clearly decided they are not going to risk their future existence by splashing the cash when they might still go down.

It's about Risk and Reward Tash!!

If it's the truth, it's the truth. And he didn't say it like that, he just implied that his squad are not good enough, which is obviously the truth.

If the owners don't give a ****, then why should he? To stay and try and keep a **** side up who are bound to get relegated with no support?

If I were in his position, I'd likely do the same knowing I'm just managing a sinking ship with owners who don't give a ****.

Maybe he didn't care about his job if his job is to sit there waiting for relegation to happen?

Maybe he already has enough cash to be happy without having to deal with a **** club who have owners who don't care about staying up?

You said yourself that he has not done a bad job and has won his only winnable game. If he is doing ok then so are the club and they may have decided that the most sustainable approach is to concentrate on winning their winnable games and hope that is enough to stay up. They will recognise that it runs the risk of relegation, but relegated with a strong championship squad and stronger than when they came up, both in terms of playing staff and financially. It is about Risk and Reward and they may well have decided that the long term rewards outweigh the short term risk.

    I am serious.
    I'm not mentally disabled.

The squad, to anyone who sees it as it is, is ****ing ****e. Look at that team and tell me it's strong enough to stay up?

It's a team full of championship quality players. The reality is all of his relegation rivals that got promoted with him, even nottingham ****ing forest, have stronger squads now, and are getting invested in.

The reality is his squad is ****, and he's not getting any investment. I'm not saying do what QPR and Forest have done and just go all in or bust.

But if they don't have any funds to really strengthen the squad and don't have any ambition, then what the **** are they doing running a football club?

Parker got them promoted, and now he's in a situation where he's having to manage a side with **** odds of staying up with no financial support.

I'd personally have just walked out, as no manager wants to stay at a side destined to get relegated with a set of owners with no ambition.

    His comments are understandable.

I'm not saying his comments are not understandable. However, the club's approach is also understandable. Not every owner has a bottomless pit of money to dip into. Their first responsibility is to ensure the long term well being of the club.
