The Birthday boy (Cooper) picked up a calf injury during the first half of the Carabao Cup win against Barnsley last week, and subsequently missed the 1-0 loss at Brighton. Although minor, Jesse Marsch didn't want to suggest a comeback date for the Leeds skipper. Bamford too is out. He is still being treated for a groin injury he picked up against Wolves on the opening game of the season. Ayling (knee), Firpo (knee), Dallas (leg) will also be missing, though both full backs are expected to resume full training next week. Fans can expect a much longer leave of absence for the Northern Ireland star. Marsch's recent comments will not enthral Whites fans:- “Then Stuart Dallas, I saw on the pitch today, moving around a little bit. So that was an exciting moment for us.” Although a disappointing performance at the weekend, Jesse Marsch is unlikely to make many, if any changes to the Leeds line up. Winless Everton Langrish in 18th place, 13 places below the Whites. They lost their two opening games of the season against Chelsea and Villa, but have picked up draws against Forest and Brentford. Under fire Manager Frank Lampard may throw Neil Maupay (£15m from Brighton) straight into the starting line up, at the expense of £20m Summer signing Dwight McNeil (from Burnley). Dominic Calvert Lewin's is injured, and 'the fat one' is desperate for goals. Centre back Mason Holgate picked up a knock against Brentford, and is rated doubtful.
Tougher game than some might think. Although near the bottom they have been competitive in every game they've been involved in and haven't lost by more than a goal yet.
Every game a tough game. Maybe people wouldn’t be so pissed off when we don’t win if they remember that
I don't know what it is but I think this season is going to be super competitive. I'm sat hear thinking Man City aren't gonna run away with it. Liverpool might not even come 2nd. They've squandered their first 3 games. I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal actually win.
This is one of those games where I go all stupid, we have Everton, 2 of the bottom 7 play each other and the other 4 have difficult games, so I start thinking a win for us, a draw and 4 defeats and jobs a good un, we have a nice cushion, then the games finish nothing like that and I keep telling myself, why do I do it and never learn.
The dice say we will win 3-0 So far this season the dice have predicted the following Wolves (lose) Southampton (draw) Chelsea (win) Brighton (draw)
I want us to win this one so bad it hurts, never have i loathed anyone in football as much as Lampard, ------ hmm but maybe Dean Smith when he was at Villa
yep… there are no easy games in the Prem. Well there might be easy games for Man City but not for the likes of us! Much as I dislike fat frank, they haven’t looked clueless whipping boys so far. Expecting a tight, close game that I hope, rather than expect, we will win.
We’re 2 points ahead of what I’d hoped at this stage. Everton will be somewhere around us at the end of the season, if we win we’ll still be two points ahead of what I’d hoped. Let’s not give Frank or Everton any easy points, we’re at home, we need to go out positive and get stuck in from the first whistle
Lost to a poor Chelsea display and a poor Villa, that win gave them their only points. Battered by Brentford Saturday, who should have won, hit the woodwork on at least 3 occasions.Even game against Forest. We should really be beating these
Tonight's game will be massive for whoever wins and whilst it's just a gut feeling I think Everton will turn us over. If that happens it will be four in row for Lampard against us.
Time to play hardball a loss to Everton and I will forgive no one Smirking faced Fat Fwank I just can’t stand may have to take a double dose of BP tablets before the game Come on leeds you better!
