The work Moyes (and his helpers) have done since joining has been amazing. He always seemed to sign quality players from other leagues which other teams let slip by whilst he was at Everton so good reason to trust him. Pacqeta is an odd one though as I'd have thought many clubs were all over him (not like he's an unknown) but the suggestion is that no-one else made a bid for him - think their loss is your gain, never seen him in action for Brazil but the couple of club matches I've seen him in he looked ace.

Well with £150 million from the sale of two centre halves I'd say it was ... not like we spent £40 million on Gylfi Siggurdsson or owt We bought Fofana for £36.5 million which included a number of add-ons - some of which haven't crystallised - Champions League qualification, full International cap and also appearance landmarks ... with injuries he has only made 43 appearances... so the actual outlay may be closer to 30-32 ... If you throw Chilwell into the mix we have recouped around £200 million in transfer fees for defenders since winning the title for an outlay of less than £50 million on them ... but more importantly, that whilst winning an FA Cup along the way and qualifying for Europe twice with top 5 finishes ... You've spent an incredible amount on players over that same period and achieved? ... oh yes ... nearly forgot ... not getting relegated
