I know mate ... had 30 years of hoping for a good cup run (2 losing FA Cup semi-finals), promotion or relegation and following them home and away (from late teens through university years) with little success until Martin O'Neil took us to 3 League Cuo finals, winning 2 ... but, of course, those years of modest achievements made winning the title and FA Cup (both for the first time in our history) all the sweeter ... I'll be a lifetime supporter whether it's continuing success (however relative that is) or back to what used to be ... but those memories will always be so so sweet ... no better feeling for a footie fan than watching your home town team win something ... and being able to celebrate with family and those fellow sufferers that you went to school with

Finished 5th twice by giving away top 4 twice. You were in 3rd place, 11 points clear of 5th spot with just 10 games to go in 2020 and threw it away by losing to a poor united team on the last day. The next season you threw away a 6 point lead over 5th with around 10 games and lost top 4 on the last day losing 4-2 to a piss poor, manager less spurs team after being 2-1 up with just 9 minutes left. Those two failures make the decision to massively over spend on wages look reckless. You were using over 95% of your income to pay wages which has left you unable to sign players without selling, which in turn has caused you to have a very bad start to the season. As for reaching a European semi final... another way of looking at that was that you failed to qualify for the last 32 of the EL...not so impressive when looked at honestly. And this season is going to be much harder due to the 5 subs rule, the winter world cup and Leicester not signing players while selling others. Unless Leicester sign some good players by Thursday they are in for a tough season.

We did indeed ... that's football ... but taking a top 6 spot from one of the Big 6 is still sweet ... and to have won the 2 major trophies in English football within in the last decade is a feat beyond most clubs ... as you'll be more than aware
He also said they weren't going to sell anyone they didn't want to lose... I wouldn't hold out for any direct acknowledgment of being wrong from what I have seen

That was the club stance ... one that I approve of ... Fofana made that stance impossible with his antics ... and I wouldn't want any player at the club that does that kind of stuff ... no matter how talented.
