Stevie G under pressure and rightly so. It’s a race between him and Lampard who gets the sack first.

Wouldn’t rule out Rodgers in that one.

Think Gerrard's under more pressure than Lampard as the expectations for Lampard/Everton are lower.

Rodgers, Lage and Hasenhuttl probably also feeling it a bit, but Gerrard probably favourite.

It's alright folks, the media blackout will ease the pressure on slippy G.

2 more **** results and he'll be the worst manager in club's 148 year history.

    Arsenal and City coming up.

    Should be fun

Surprised people care either way. Klopp is staying for 4 more years, maybe more. Gerrard has his own managerial career to worry about.

Your on the wrong board. Gerrard is the villa manager so none of us are particularly concerned.

Never said anyone was. Just adding to existing comments about him being sacked.

But I take it you're all now distancing yourselves from him being Livpl's next manager? <whistle>

As opposed to the masses of comments on this board saying he was nailed on to be next manager?

Dno how many people read/watch the ref watch on sky where talk about controversial decisions Over the weekend.

Were talking about the Haaland potential red card for high foot. Think it’s a 50/50 personally so can argue both ways but does make me laugh that Gallagher says it’s reckless but not certainly not dangerous and was accidental. Apparently putting your studs into the side of someone’s head isn’t dangerous?

Warnock then asked the difference between this and the mane one on Ederson. First point the speed - I can get that, the collision was a bit more high intensity. But then goes on to say Anderson put his head into Haaland space (sorry what?). Not sure that’s a thing given Haaland stuck his foot out and up and Haaland didn’t know he was there where. again not entirely sure that should make a difference?

‘it’s alright folks’ would suggest that we are worried about it or something.. like I say wrong board, the villa fans may be worried as if he’s sacked means he’s doing poor, but not sure many lfc fans are that concerned.

Bound to get beaten at home now after a comment like that. Whenever someone talks about winning streaks they always end.

Gerrard hasn't don't his prospects much good either. After winning the Scottish league with Rangers, when it should have been a one-horse race for Celtic, being not good enough for Villa makes his homecoming in the future very unlikely.

He's going to end up a Steve Bruce, not a Jurgen Klopp.

I can't remember any comments beyond it being far too early to tell and if he does a good job then at some point in the future maybe. It's not like we're desperate to get of rid of Klopp.

But his chances aren't looking great at the moment, no.

Gerrard did a great job In Scotland, the rangers fans I know think it's almost messiah like what he managed.

He'd be fine at villa if given time, but i dont think he'll get it.

Find sometimes having money puts extra pressure on as well.

Look at lampard. Came in at chelsea under transfer ban, was an underdog and got his team playing well. Suddenly summer comes and spend big on players, expectation goes through the roof and suddenly manage can’t deal with that pressure.

Seems similar with gerrard atm. Spent a bit in Scotland by their standards but was underdogs. Then goes to villa, given a lot of money to spend and can’t get players firing.
