Both Sunak and Truss have said if they get elected they’ll make it work, in other words it isn’t working.
I know this thread contains quite a bit of banter and harmless argument ... ... but I've not posted much because the current situation is beyond politics. Watching the news is just so depressing at the moment. The country just seems lost, with too many decent people really struggling and a government that's just drifting along. The politicians seem obsessed with 'the game' and jostling for position in the race for new jobs. I've never known the country seem so aimless, really sad considering its 2022 ... ... we just don't seem to be making the slightest progress.
Well looking at 90% of politicians it’s hardly surprising, never seen such a useless lot in my lifetime.
It's like someone saying Alex Neil is a **** for what he's done and then someone else saying aye but what about Lawrie Mackem Enemy. It is completely irrelevant.
Corbyn was definitely toxic and Abbot, well she is Abbot. Bonko was, as they say beyond the pale, Truss, my guess is, we are about to find out that she hasn't got a clue. So with them as incumbents.. Corbyn/Abbot do bear comparison better.
I don't use 'what about Labour'. I point out that replacing someone hopeless with someone equally hopeless but wearing the right colour rosette is monumentally stupid. I don't expect you to understand nuance given your hysterical pant ****ting at any and all things Tory.
Well said Smug, Parliament should have been recall and all side of the house should be working together to sort out rather name calling and pathetic posturing Closer to 100% in my view
The sad thing is the majority of people seem to know this already and theres not a bloody thing we can do about it.
Well there are 160,000 blue rinse brigade old biddies who are Tory party members who could have done something about it, but won't as the Daily Mail told them to vote for Truss
While U-Turn Truss hides from Nick Robinson.... https://news.sky.com/story/amp/liz-...2467188&csi=0&referrer=https://www.google.com
