I think that is what's bothering people but if you look at it as a plan, which I believe it is, then it's going to plan no sweat.
I’m not over duly worried as I can see spurs scoring again. But this counter attacking play doesn’t sit well with me when we are playing against the “lesser” teams.
It's my age and my blood pressure I have to reserve my moments of excitement for when it matters most.
We probably wouldn’t be looking so bad if Son played like he can. Instead Kane and Kulu are our only working forward outlets, they’ve combined brilliantly once but we need to mix it up more, I hope Son is hauled off now but I don’t see it happening for another 10-15 mins, hopefully he gets a rocket at HT and comes out and plays how we know he can.
This starting XI is performing nowhere near the level it was during the last third of last season. Yet is ostensibly exactly the same team as last season.
Can’t even lie it’s pissing me off. Last season we had to put up with it if him/ Kane/ Kulu were playing poor, this season we’ve got a good option to change it and we’re not doing so. Doesn’t send a good first impression either to the new signings that regardless of how bad someone’s playing they’re not getting a legit chance.
I think that Conte will start to rotate in the next two matches. It gives him a reasonable excuse, so he doesn't have to piss anyone off.
