I think it would be interesting to have an up to date poll, although there probably wouldn’t be much change from the Leeds match. Maybe at around 10 games in.
There is a 'change your vote' button in the original for those who have been swayed by recent recruitment and performances.
Yeah a new poll is obvious because so many people will have voted and not bothered to change (if they wanted to). The number of voters might be lower if there were a lot of people who voted then never returned but the ratio would be more relevant than the current one
In which case it would be a pointless exercise. How about a compromise: if we are in the bottom 3 after 10 games we can have a new poll. I’d be voting Ralph Out then, as would everyone else, so it would be another pointless exercise. Until then, Ralph Outers are free to change their vote on the existing poll. We still need a Chelsea thread though.
As for the penalty shout (so obvious) It will be interesting to see what Dermot says on Ref watch tomorrow, having said that SSN's coverage on Saturday was abysmal because it was on BT. When the goal went in SSN were on an extended advertising break and took ages to announce the goal.
Mark Halsey has a history of going against decisions that have affected us, so I am not convinced he is any more of an expert. If that wasn't a genuine hand ball shout they would be better off abolishing the rule altogether, not keep moving the goalposts to suit the elite.
FWIW I don't think VAR can give that TBH, it doesn't really matter how many times it hits someone's arm. If the arm is in a natural position or it's very close range like it was I don't see how you can give a penalty. And for the last one where he moved his arm towards the ball it was on the sleeve so isn't handball.
We were denied a point, obvious a penalty has to be scored etc.so it isn't clear cut. If that isn't hard done by, what is?
