It only took me 5 minutes to start welling up with pride at how the players reacted to the previous 24 hrs of **** they had to put up with and with the way the crowd got behind them.
Played really well against a strong Norwich SQUAD.
If Michut signs in time then, along with Bennette, we may have a more balanced bench that can make a difference (3 defenders and 2 right wingers is not balanced) IMHO.

Players and fans were great. Not easy to destroy this team's spirit. Just need more quality options on the bench.

Thought we played well. Tired around 60 mins. They bring 3 subs on and up their game. We fkd about with indecision again regarding subs and it potentially cost us.
Happy with our performance and we need to remember they were Premier league last season.
Their No24 the ginger kid was the best player I have see here for a while.
Havent seen anything so far too worry me to much about us not surviving this season.

That's the problem. We don't really have any options off the bench

Personally I thought Pritch had his worst game for us for a while and looked tired or worse disinterested after 60 mins. Embers should have been on then imo. And giving Roberts just 5 minutes was pathetic.
I agree we need more men in but I just wonder if Ross n Pritch will still be with us in a few days time.
That kid from PSG was there yesterday so that sounds like a done deal.

Agree re Pritch. Worst game for a while. Think he just looked knackered rather than disinterested

We’ll… That depends. If the 3 defenders weigh 11 stone each that’s 33 stone. So if the 2 wingers are fat bastards like me and weigh 16.5 stone, then the see saw would be level and, therefore, balanced….

Prichard was ok not on top form
However we overall played well and for us to compete in this league todays performance was ok
I think that’s not far of our best we can play
With new additions to the team we could perform to a higher standard
Nevertheless every game we WILL have to work our socks of to get a result

The underuse of Roberts season to date has baffled me mind.

Why didn’t he replace Pritch, who was flagging at 65mins or so?

Surely he’s fit he’s not had nearly enough minutes for me to date. I’ve made no secret how I rate the lad.

Have to mention Gooch again, far from his best but he absolutely looks Championship standard instance turnaround from looking no good to League One. Well, turn back around as he’s previously looked good enough for Prem.

    Mad journey the lad.

I'm also baffled 're Roberts and asked a while ago if he 's fallen out with our now ex manager.
we were crying out for fresh legs, someone to keep the ball in their half to relieve their late pressure.
also thought Simms had a poor game yesterday and on that showing I'd prefer Broadhead, but maybe thats being a bit harsh.

I agree about Roberts, but how do you fit him in the team?

We can't play two up top, Pritchard behind them and then Roberts and Clarke, we would then have to drop either gooch or a centre midfielder

I didn't want to be the first one to bring up Simms, but he's a bit clumsy and always seems to be lacking in concentration. A few times yesterday he wasn't switched on when the ball was around him. Stewart is a far better player. I'd like us to bring somebody else in to rotate with Simms.

Couldn't Roberts do that, he's certainly more mobile and has goals in him, little and large worked for us once before:emoticon-0148-yes:

I'd actually use Simms as a sub replacement for Stewart when needed to give Ross a break now and again, yes the two worked well at first but think we need something a bit different if we're to continue with two up top.

Yeah I thought a couple of times he wasn’t switched on
However because of his good start I’ll give time time and benefit of doubt

Don't drop anybody but subs are there for a reason. Everybody could see from about 60-65 mins we were flagging. Give the subs at least 20-25 mins to get into the game

You are correct don’t drop anyone
However like you say use the subs
    It’s a 18 man squad game
You don’t just use the subs because a player is injured or having a bad game
There is many reasons to use a sub

There has been a reluctance tongue subs this season when that was one of AN strengths last season. I think he was trying to use it to get more transfers in, imo.

The lads yesterday carried that on, whether that was through being inept and not seeing changes needed making or just sticking to what AN was doing.
