All signs point to perez currently.

Just waiting for the other shoe to drop but he has to have the vote for now.

    Surely will implode as per.

Merc's nowhere. Very very disappointing again and points to engine power.

A bit of porposiing seen in the field but not at red bull so the plank accusations are out the window.

Had Lewis, changed to Sainz, he's the man on the move while Charlie's spinning himself out.

While the commentators are filling the 15 min delay they have been showing the crash site. I have noticed that after the armco barrier, that has just been fixed, there is a concrete section without tyre barriers!
OK so it's not normally an accident site but if a car hits solid concrete that's not going to be good!

    More thoughts....
Thinking about the 6 drivers with back of grid penalties.
I wonder if it would be better to sort their grid order by just using their Q1 times and then not allowing them to take part in Q2 or Q3? Effectively making Q2 just 14 cars.
That would stop towing of team mates by driver starting from the back.

Mercedes 1.7/ 2 seconds behind Max and 1.2/1.5 behind Sainz. So much for the upgrades <doh>

Lewis: How far behind were we?
    Bonno: 1.8
    Lewis: 1.8 seconds?
    Bonno: Yes, 1.8 seconds.
    Lewis: *silence*

I would say the risk of a crash at the newly runoff-less La Source is the only real obstacle to Verstappen winning tomorrow.

    It's interesting.

After any or all pondering Hamilton is on second row in race trim so can look forward at two absolutely error prone wasters who are always likely to cock up in front.

Verstappen will expect at least 2nd from here unless perez overtakes sainz.

If its sainz then perez imo perez will be told to pull over.

    Merc have a shot here.

Must ask where the illegal plank toto. Clown.

Looks like he dropped a clanger. Seems like what ever Red Bull where doing with the floor was actually hindering them :emoticon-0102-bigsm. Now they have replaced the floor they are faster than ever!!!

Didn’t get round to voting, but it would have been a “spin of the wheel effort” anyway. I can actually imagine Max coming through to win. It seems whatever these rules have done, it’s been a positive for RB so far. Shame Norris had to take new components, I think he could have taken the fight to the number twos.

Well whatever happens, we all know Ferrari are going to absolutely cock up the entire weekend,. So Max is more thank likely to extend his lead unless he hits some bad luck. He's going to take this title at a canter.

Well sadly the coach left 1 hr 20 min ago and I am typing this from the hotel .
Mrs J said I could go on my own , NOT going to happen !

    Push , yes I’m really disappointed , but I have been twice before 96 / 98 .

My wife has never been to ANY races .
And at least it looks like SPA will likely go ahead next year , so can try for that . Enjoy the race everyone .

So glad to hear that you are showing lots of affection for your wife.I couldn`t go to somewhere without my other half, even if she was to say you can go on your own,I just wouldn`t enjoy it.Anyway I hope this message reaches you with your wife feeling much better. Do they have skysport or foxtel on T.V. in your hotel in Belgium? I wouldn`t know myself as I`m in Australia and it`ll already be Sunday night here when the race starts. Also so glad to hear your news that Spa will likely go ahead next year.
