Really don’t think we’ll see another striker like him at Spurs for a considerable amount of time. Those stats are just ridiculous.

So no one ever mentioned it whenever Rooney passed a milestone or moved up the list of all time scorers then? Harry will pass Cole very soon and in a lot fewer games, he will pass Rooney in premier league and England goals at some point, as for Shearer that still looks a long way off to me.
Some of those categories looked a little contrived. As I say, when his career is finished and he is top of many meaningful lists, we can look back and judge where he ranks. I think it’s 50/50 as to whether he passes Shearer (who also scored pre-PL era goals too) but he’ll get to the top of a lot of other significant lists very soon without doubt
But that's comparable to applauding one's successful career only upon retirement! Surely we can celebrate one's career during the various stages of success?

If such levels are long-standing, and Kane is already bettering them with his PL/international career seemingly far from over, then there is no harm or shame (Spurf) in stating them. IMHO, the ones that are worthy of monitoring are : 1. PL - Total goals - Scoring rate (overall, open play) - Away goals scored - Total assists (individual or as a pair) 2, International - Total goals - Scoring rate (overall, open play) - Total goals scored in tournament finals Everything else I can ignore with ease.
Not that far really to get onto the list of the greatest goal scorers in the English game. In all seriousness I questioned the other day whether he would catch Shearer, but there are very few people that wouldn't expect to get into the top 10 in this list at the very minimum, and maybe then he will actually get some respect from supporters of other teams (whether he wins trophies or not).
The fact he plays for a team that hasn’t won a trophy should only add to his scoring achievements imo.
