Our 6th shouldn't have stood, imo - but we managed a few more so it wouldn't have made much difference. If Palace's perfectly legit one had been allowed to stand it could have made a very different game.
Just saw that. Almost identical to the Karius one in the CL final. Keeper just rolled it at the palace players foot. Not sure how more hasn’t been made of that
The 3rd Haaland goal is frightening. He’s 22, and an absolute tank. Just holds off big cb with 1 arm and then slots it in with ease. Anyone thinking he wouldn’t be able to handle the prem is going to be very wrong. He’s built for this league
The boy is a monster and will score more goals than most ever have. That said, because of his size and speed i feel his career at the top will be shorter than most because of the punishment/demands on his body. Will be great watching him at his best though.
They discussed it on MotD. Unusually for me I listened to it as I wondered how that goal was disallowed. Lineker said it should have stood, Jenas somehow claimed that Ederson hadn't released the ball, and Wright sat on the fence.
Everything that’s wrong with reds in this country in that Newcastle game Wolves penalised for a foul that has happened repeatedly today Also zero consistency across season atm
