Hopefully they go for someone like Rooney.... They love to pretend they're a big club and he'll get chased out just like every other manager that's ever been stupid enough to take the job.
This has taken a long time for some of them to sink in. When they lost Jack Ross, I remember some of them going on about replacing him with managers who had JUST left Premier League sides. That of course they could attract a quality of manager like Fat Sam. Clubs like us, Villa and them get labelled as delusional but there's plenty of clubs in the divisions below who are on another planet.
The best day will come if they ever get promoted and produce a good youth player because nufc will cherry pick anything out that area and kill them off at source. Newcastle is going to be a monster
He left last season. He was there for 5 years, they got relegated to league one, he got them promoted first time of asking and turned them into a top half championship side.
