Took us until the start of NOVEMBER to rack up double figure points last season! Ahead of schedule chaps, like it.

I think we looked more solid defensively as a back four. Even against West Brom.

When we signed Figueiredo I think pretty much all of us thought this was an excellent signing, plenty of experience and coming from a promotion team. I'm getting a bit less convinced now, and starting to wonder if Jones will be preferred when we have a full squad to choose from and start playing 4 at the back (if that ever happens). Opposing teams seem to have sussed him out and their press is leaving him to have the ball. Problem is he can be a panicky passer and also lacks the confidence to play forward balls even through relatively large gaps.

if you add up the distances that all oscar's goals have been scored from, does it add up to as far as deano's 200 8 wembley goal yet?

i'm not complaining, because he certainly makes sure he gets goals by being in the right place for it to bounce in off some part of him or other. it's been a while since anyone started a season with 7 in 6.

We need players back in midfield tho. Slater was blowing out his arse half way through the second half couldn’t get goal side. We had no out ball from defence other than booting it up

I think goals from inside the 6 yard box should count double , triple if they just bounce off you

Wish City had figured that under the new ref directive a fair bit if physical can go unpunished and we should have stopped trying to get cheap fouls . It gave them possession a lot second half . This ref wanted to really let the game go on
