.Newcastle United is currently occupying the third position in the pemiership table. If they can sustain it till the end of the season it means they are going to be in the group stage straight.I however have my reservations, but they are still unbeaten in the premiership.They are flying high. ON Friday 30 December Liverpool are to play Newcastle for the first time this season. The game between the two especially at Anfield is always entertaining, particularly last minute winner on the part of Liverpool. We currently have two ex- Newcastle players in our team, Jose Enrique doing very well and Andy Carroll finding his form. Is Newcastle United going to remain unbeaten in the premiership by then.? There is no doubt they are one of the surprises of the season so far.
No way. Man City and Man Utd away coming up very shortly. Getting through both of those unbeaten would be a miracle no one expects.
I wish it had been the home game first, Carroll's long overdue a slaughtering at SJP. Should be a cracking game if we can continue this sort of form

its still great to have more newcastles and less... dare i say it... small assed teams with nothing but survuval on thier minds i nthis league. Newcastle are a big club, maybe not in trophies but in stature, they just are (IMO)
Suddenly this game is now a must win game,because we are playing Manchester City away on 03/01/12.A point is not good for this game.
