As much as this French lad might be a good player I don’t think he’s in the evans mould

 

Put the rumour of the players unsettled to bed that performance. They didn't deserve to lose that.

 

Can someone explain how a player who gets booked for time wasting and then proceeded to hurl the ball directly at the ref, doesn’t get a second yellow?

 

It's unexplainable in the refs world, another sh*t ref

 

Done well today and didn't deserve to lose that. A special mention to Cirkin, O'Nien and Stewart. Neil did ok 1st half but faded in the 2nd. I think we need another forward as Simms cannot control a ball and frankly doesn't look that match fit.

 

Looks more suited for FIFA video game.

 

Agree, we were good against a good team but got tired at the end. Subs earlier would have helped but I don't think they trust the bench. Evans backup/upgrade is essential, then if the new kids provide options we could be good the whole game.

We have been competitive in every game. I couldn't ask for more than that at the start of the season. No surprise the result today after all the shenanigans. Massive few days now before Rotherham and end of transfer window..

 

We played class for most of that game and we easily deserved to win.

We had options on the bench, we just didn’t use them.

More positives than negatives but we do need nore options.

Over the moon with the performance and with the fact it puts to bed any stupid rumours that there was unrest and players wanting out etc, they gave everything today just ran out of steam

 

We played well against a team tipped to go up… we didn’t deserve to lose, but given our last 24 hours… very predictable

 

aye, but was that not something AN said about them when he arrived?

if so i would have thought it had been sorted by now but thinking about it, we really have had some great first halfs, stuttered start to the second halfs then fading drastically from around 60 minutes, maybe that was the plan from norwich to try to hold it at 0-0 then throw the three subs on once we fell right off as it was very noticable today mind.

 

SHOULD have won all 3 homes games this season not won one that is a worry, and the refs the 12th man, and why no subs until too late ?.

I thought he was, maybes we think Neil can cover evans? He was a lot better off the ball today than he has been, who knows I give up trying to guess what’s happening at this club

 

Now I might just be being emotional, but Stewart’s applause to the crowd seemed pointed. Hope I’m just reading far too much into it
