I don’t get too bothered about what other clubs buy or sell players for. Find the whole thing a disgusting side of football, similar to the 18m paid out to winner of golfs fedex. A player is worth what another club is willing to pay, and how desperate that club is regardless what any of us think. As for selling Harrison or James, lunacy. Even selling James, immediately weakens the squad substantially unless there’s a better replacement hidden in jesses garage. Here’s a better idea if we want ro save cash, sell Bambi for 20m. He’s done I’m afraid but someone might take a punt on him
And what dumbass thought of sticking the crest in the middle, that’s the worst feature. Looks all wrong. Not sure how the Leeds salute is meant to work with that. Personally I think Elland roads crowd looks spectacular on a sunny match day wearing mainly white kits. Can’t imagine how it would look if 36k turned up in that black yoke or the splattered one either
A lot of clubs are launching horrible kits, not just us. Pity fans wouldn’t vote with their wallets and leave them on the shelves. Maybe clubs would think twice about releasing three strips a year, at least one of which is usually ****e. Don’t even get me started on the laughable pricing
Got to say it’s an age thing mate. I’m like you, I don’t like the new kits but I’ve yet to speak to anyone under 30 who doesn’t like it
I'm 42 and I like it. I'm pretty traditional as in home kit should be white, away kit should be yellow and third kit should be blue. However, shirt sales wouldn't be anywhere near the levels we've seen if we just had traditional colours every season. A few funky kits that appeal to younger people is a good earner for the club. If we didn't adopt that strategy then every single other club would be 1 up on us financially. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Buy the traditional home kit. I understand the frustration at some of these kits. The away one looks like someone has thrown up on it to me but my son and even the wife like it.
Agree an they’re the ones with the most money to throw away. With that way of thinking, how much longer with our home kitremain white. Would these youngsters buy a red away kit when designers run completely out of ideas, I suspect many would
I have seen the away tie dye and the colours are awful. I saw a guy wearing one in Wakefield and it looks cheap.
Currently sat in Palma Airport and there are loads of people of all ages wearing the current cat sick away shirt. A couple wearing last seasons lilac shirt. Not a home shirt in sight.
Exactly they are fashion items. 9th August coming back through thessaloniki airport i saw a guy in a Leeds Hawaain shirt.
