dint forget to take away the 30m or so they paid for him. So just 26m ish profit.

 

They'll only be getting a cut of the profit. So that will be about 7-8 million.

 

Can't argue with a second consecutive record fee for a defender buddy ... if that is how it transpires ... it's what we do ... discover talent ... have them win trophies ... sell on... Still think Everton are gonna struggle.

Financially they could of done with a season were they don't have to spend cash, but were so dogshit last season, so poor in friendlies and have now had an equally turgid start to the season that they need to sign people affordable that might help.
