Did you have any drop outs BB? None here at all. Very good program for me since they ironed out all of the problems. From what I heard our defence looks so much better with Hodson and NN. I reckon that a few owe NN an apology with their comments last week.
Thank you for your "hot " fingers as well and keeping the info flowing ! Tis appreciated in various parts
And I reckon that a few should start drafting their apologies to SD too! It seems to be coming together for him, but another big test ahead on Saturday - if we can get a point from there then we can start to feel more positive about the rest of the season. Double bonus tonight - no drop-outs on 3CR and Troy got the goal he so deserves!
What was Troys goal like , he so deserves to score! chap on sky says its his first since last November! BB the draft is done ,but will hold it till the end of the month!
Just back - great stuff, never under threat at any time really. Can i just say though, I was absolutely disgusted with the utter, utter w@nkers who cheered when Forsyth was subbed. Tossers, they should f*ck off and 'support' another team, Tossers.
What a great game! The first half we were fantastic! We fell back a bit in the second, but the substitution was inspirational! Hogg and Hodson had great games but to be honest, there's no point singling anyone out, because there wasn't one duff performance. We played better football than on Saturday, and the misses were frustrating but with Brighton having not one shot at goal, we played our socks off, played good football, and it was one of the most exciting 1-0s i've seen for a long time! And isn't it great that we kept a clean sheet! That's 141 minutes without conceding! Very happy Hornette tonight! Can't wait til the weekend!
Brighton were really poor today. Kept the ball a bit but very negative and most of it was their goalie being a boring fart. For me the man of the match was Nosworthy, followed closely by Hodson and Mariappa. All three were solid all game, I wouldn't drop Hodson for Doyley.....not fair and I think I prefer Hodson right now anyway. For me the weak point was our lefties....Dickinson was letting their winger get crosses in on almost every occasion and Forsyth was good with his headers, but generally poor play and he's too slow. Once Kightly was on the defender had a much harder time and we actually pushed forward more. Sticking Deeney on was a no brainer. I wouldn't even say it's risky having 3 strikers...he is hard working and he does more in the midfield than Forsyth anyway. He can tackle, he is fast and puts them under pressure.....he's good in the air too. Was a deserved 1-0....I think we should've been 1-0 up from the first minute.....
Thanks H so the improvement is continuing with tangible results! Looking at our attempts stats , how come we only got one?
it was like the beginning of the season Norway, loads of chances but for one reason or another, we couldn't put them away. Some went straight to the GK, one or two hit the bar...from the interview afterwards SD seemed to imply that he wasn't sure why the ref had disallowed a goal, but since that was in the first half and nobody in the Rookery celebrated, and i certainly didn't see one, i'm really not sure what he was talking about! lol
Not as much as I should - tried to get a promotion there once! It's about 1600kl north of Perth & is fairly new - was built in the late 60's to service the mining industry & is still a nice small town of around 11000. Surrounded by farmland & National parks on one side and Indian Ocean on the other, so if you like camping/4WD/fishing you'd be happy there - wouldn't recommend swimming though - nasty big sharks. Climate is on a par with where I come from - hot in winter and bloody hot in summer Thinking of moving there?
Now a new Heli base set up by the sister company of who I work for now ,and yes I`m giving it serious consideration!
