In some respect this will be a harder game than Chelsea. Brighton won't underestimate or disrespect us for a start. I'd settle for a point TBH because like him or loathe him Potter is doing a good job for them.
If there was a downside to the performance against Chelsea, it’s that teams now know we will attempt to press them to within an inch of their lives. So guess, it’s gonna be a hard scrap on Saturday. I would be delighted to be wrong with my preseason prediction for the first 10 games, because I had us to lose this. Very happy to get a draw and good strong performance, but hoping for a 2-0 away win.
I was expecting us to draw against wolves, beat Southampton and lose to Chelsea so I’m very happy we’ve exceeded my expectations
I kind of meant clubs in general, i.e. scum fans protesting because they think it’s their god given right to beat Brighton and hammers supporters booing the team off the pitch like they’ve lost to lower league opposition. Go on social media and there are some of our fans who think a club like ours should be beating these easily.
We should beat these sides. It's not good enough if we don't. They will never be top six or have our history. We can get back in Europe and win things again. They have no chance as we are superior.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment, reality is at the moment they are a more established premier league team than us so this is going to be a tough game and we don’t have the money to throw at it like Newcastle to suddenly just leapfrog them.
The team will be wearing the new 3rd kit tomorrow, only seen pics of the shirt ( on the website they refer to it as a jersey?) And seems the socks are orange.
Don"t see why should be worried about this fixture. Too much hype about potter, they are there for the taking.
