Yah but why continue putting yourself through training, not being able to eat and drink what you want, stopping yourself from going out have a standard social life when you dont have to cause you are set. You can enjoy something and then lose interest in it. I know i certainly have especially if it takes a lot of effort
Would you continue doing it though? Maybe certain careers you do. No longer have a passion for the job but you're good at what you do and you keep picking up the paycheck and trying to climb the ladder. But as a footballer and multi-millionaire if you lose interest in the game then go do something you enjoy - you have that luxury.
Probably not. But if hes only doing it a few times a week but without the effort its going part time for a shed load of money
Something wrong about that Bobby. Maybe bcos it's a sport, people come and pay to see you play, it's like scamming the fans. Like Cuddicini happy to sit on the bench for 5 years when he knew he was never going to play, ya get me
Ultimately what this conversation demonstrates is that Bobby is a financially immoral Chav **** I mean President Bob chav ****
You could say that about any industry, from the ****ty customer service i get in china town to @brb fixing this website
Bro you support spurs, levys the biggest financially immoral spiv of them all. Taking all you spurs fans for a ride
I'm happy with our window if the Paqueta deal goes through, which looks like it is, fairly happy without it tbh. I think we'll continue to be a bit shakey in the league until the WC then we'll come into our own in the sharp end of the season. I won't be surprised if we actually win something this year, hoping for the Euro conference, but if you offered me 17th & the EFL cup, I'd take it now.
Cracking player that. We were interested in him for ages. Quick, technically gifted player who can play across the front line. Needs a bit of work on his finishing, but he's got age on his side. Will be interesting to see how he fairs in the PL Big tings for Toon that
If he's 8-10 behind their combined efforts that'll do. Realistically I don't know if we're playing him up top or on the wing. If he gets 10 goals from 30 games in his first season here I'd be happy, I suspect 7 or so is more likely. 22, a lot of room for improvement.
Think that would be incredible for a 22 year old who isn't Haaland. Just looking forward to what he brings to the table, but he looks a fast confident player. Exciting
