Liam Manning please
How aggressively do his sides press?

Also, I'm not convinced that style of 'death by 1,000 passes' or passing opponents into submission lends itself to our crowd - we're better utilised with a more direct style. I may be misrepresenting Manning's football mind.

I wouldn't be surprised if we come out of it ok, get a good manager in to replace him, keep Stewart, finish the window off strongly.

But **** me does it have to be like this. Can we not have any periods where we can relax and enjoy our football without the club finding a way to take a sledgehammer to our mental health. In a bitter mood.

Mauricio Pochettino is available :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Bid came in for Stewart which could be accepted has set all this off along with Neil feeling he hasnt been backed

If Stewart goes, it will be a step too far for me, I might not be the only one.

It was fairly obvious that AN wanted Stewart and Broadhead as his 2 main strikers. Broadhead is in Wigan, we have Simms but needed Broadhead( or a lookalike) if Stewart is off!!!

Then if we have not increased ANs wages!

Is the club being run on a shoestring?

the next appointment will be telling on that

Having said all that about Neil. I think the club need to take a long look at its self and this project if a manager who gets us promoted and the fans and players love prefers to jump ship and go to stoke. Doesn’t bode well for the level of our next appointment

I think it shows the club will stick to how they want to do things and not be dictated to by a manager never mind how good he has been!

No, I hope this helps.

If it were being run on a shoe string then we wouldn't have bought Ballard or Clarke and we wouldn't have been able to agree a deal with Patrick Roberts.

I'm not sure on that. Everyone criticised the Neil appointment saying it was the cheap appointment.

As proven, the best doesn't always have to be the dearest.

Looking forward to the usual names linked again :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Gary Monk
Nigel Adkins
Kevin Phillips
Tony Mowbray

etc...

Struggling to think of anyone realistic we can go for, 2 transfer windows in a row approaching the deadline needing a new manager isn’t ideal, don’t think it will hinder transfers given the model but players would obviously want to know who they’re working with day to day

I agree and it worry’s me Neil was a good manager who had managed at a high level That’s what we need. But if we wouldn’t offer Neil an acceptable contract then we can rule out the likes of Dyche. Going for a lower league manager with potential is a huge risk. Would be a disaster to go back down
