This is about him not committing to the way the club want to work. He wanted more control but the club have their approach and wont change for him.
i have to say I find this astonishing....If he is keen to go to Stoke, more money? more say over incomings? then fcuk him we jog on!
My personal take on it is that he doesn't agree with the strategy the club want to take with signing younger players. In a previous press conference he said that there was no door to break down cos he kept banging in it to sign players. I've lost a lot of respect for him for doing this the day before a game which is live on Sky. The atmosphere will be a lot different than it would've been before all this
Mate you can dress it up all you like but neither side of this come out well. IF we haven't delivered on a promise then name one manager who has got everything he has been promised? IF he was that unhappy then why hasn't he walked away without another job? There is more than just the club to blame here
Only hope is that Speakman learnt his lesson from last time and has a list ready to go If its true we offered him a really low deal last week and thats why he's going, then we should be ready.
Maybe he was not taken on for the long haul Maybe we have some one lined up now Or it that wishful thinking
We’ll now offer a lesser manager a better contract than Neil was on. Are we putt8ng the same clowns as last time in temp charge?
Where is that from mate? Have we offered such a shtie offer he has jumped at the chance to stick his fingers up?
Positive spin time In February we had to find a manager willing to join a side 8th in League One Now we have to find a manager willing to join a side 8th in the Championship Like with players we are now shopping in a different supermarket.
Speakman has to go for me. Twice he has left us in the lurch due to his piss poor planning which is one of the main roles of his job. Recruitment is in place with scouting systems and a head of recruitment who imo has done well with the players we have brought in. AN was backed in the window and it's simply incompetence from the DOF that has put us in this mess.
The way I see this, we were a stepping stone for AN, and the rolling year contract suited us both. Speakman failed to get a better deal in place after promotion and AN didn't like the model and signings that were being made. Stoke are owned by bet365 who recently paid their owner £1 million a day. Society is funked over by gambling and so is SAFC... I'd like to thank AN for getting us where we are today and especially the win in my lifetime at Wembley. I'd also like to give Speakman a few days to sort the managers job out. The club will always be in my heart, roll on the good times and looking forward to the match tomorrow. Hhhaaawwwwaaaaayyyyyyy the lads
