Their captain, Sebastian Coates, played for Liverpool, too.
Trincao was on loan at Wolves and a couple of their other players were on their books.
Pedro Porro was a City player for three years, though he didn't actually play for them.

Frankfurt? I got nothing. We were linked with Ndicka and that's about it.

I suppose one connection is one of their goalscorers in that match, Cha Bum-kun.
He's South Korea's top scorer and Son only overtook one of his records recently.
His league 17 goals for Leverkusen in 85/86 were the most by a Korean in Europe until last season.

A shame that Dynamo Kyiv are in the same pot as the Runners, as that's an away match they were really hoping to break Covid regs to avoid...

    You don't need to know.

I intend to state here the EL/EL2 groups that PL clubs are in,
after the draw is done, when tis convenient for me
    (so don't set your clocks/watches by it :) ) .

It's destined that Arsenal and Rennes will be in the same group, isn't it?

Two sets of Covid cheats who run away from away games...

Didn't even know the draw was on, lol.

PSV, Bodo and Zurich, they should top that with ease to be fair, a shame there's no heavy travelling for them either.

Utd with Sociedad, Sheriff and Omonoia. Latter two are a good few hour flights.

We should get through it fairly comfortably but PSV may be a banana skin. As is Bodo/Glimt, who took 4 points off Roma in last season’s Europa Conference League group stages, and beat them again in the 1st leg knockout stages. Can’t underestimate them.

That said, would be beyond humiliating if we don’t top the group.

all jokes aside, you’re right. It is a potential banana skin group. IMO Liverpool’s CL group could be as well.

Are you confident with your squad to have a serious go at the EL, as well as a top 4 push in the PL?

I watched PSV against Rangers the other night. They're ****.
I'm sure van Nistelrooy will be well up for it, though. Might attack one of your players if they win! <laugh>

Bodo/Glimt is probably the dodgier one, especially at their place.
Their artificial turf is a little... unpredictable.
