Great potential but failed in his first big move when he went to Spain after smashing it in Germany like Haaland and Sancho did
shame, hoped it worked out for him with us, but it didn’t. His performance to drag us back against Palace last season was worth the wages. Hope this move kickstarts him again, still a player in him.
Cant blame him myself personally. If he doesn't like footie why force him. Its like them Tiger mums who force their kids into the sciences or professional jobs like lawyer/doctor etc when all they wanted to be was a creative. However seeing how he plays football though hes a little prick
Are you guys getting anything for alli spurly? I know he had soke clauses about meeting certain games?. Another levy special let his players run down their value and leave on a free
Yeah this is something I've changed my view on in recent years and it's understandable really. If you're already set for life in your early 20s then you have to be extremely dedicated to want to slog your body day in day out for another decade while also giving up other things in life. Not everyone has their drive in their professional environment and just want to enjoy life. I was actually half expecting him to retire tbh. First line is spot on too. Just because someone is good at something doesn't mean they have to do it.
thanks ... might not have been being entirely serious... and that map is misleading anyway ... majority of Liverpool fans live much further south
You think his mum pushed him to become a professional footballer when what he really wanted to be was an astrophysicist?
Dele’s downfall culminated from several factors. Took his eye off the game for a while to build his brand. Got too hooked up with social media and gaming. Off field issues, especially with his ex. The losses to the side of Dembele and Eriksen. Dembele controlled the midfield which meant Dele could stay roaming further forward to find space, Eriksen would then often find that space. Once those two went, Dele had no one that could spot his runs, he’d have to come deeper to defend and collect the ball and unlike Kane and Son, he couldn’t adapt to changes in the system and formation. Jose notably called him out for being a lazy trainer too which is seen in the Amazon doc. It’s a shame to see but it’s not one I’ve been surprised at. Been on the cards for about 2-3 years to be honest. I said on our board a year or two back that I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he either retires early or ends up back at MK Dons.
Fabrizio Romano: Manchester United official proposal to Newcastle for Martin Dubravka is for loan move until June 2023. Just been told it also includes buy option clause discussed between the two clubs, around £5m. Sweeper keeper incoming?
The bit where he held up the flowers ffs and someone had to take it off him He will love the fans. Can't fault the turkish fans for their support. They're out at ridiculous o'clock to see him arrive. That should be enough for anyone to want to do well but lets see how he responds.
Them fans are always electric…they go mental even if they signed Harry Maguire fam. Him though…got the wrong energy for me
Yeh it looked awkward, like a rabbit caught in headlights. Should've done a double handed fist pump with a lion's roar at them like he meant it. Feel the vibe ffs!
The passion they show can turn if you don't put the effort in, he's ****ed, death threats by the time the world cup comes around.
All about self-belief. His confidence must be on the floor. But fck that, he better get into it quick time or they'll see it. So will his team mates. He has to make a fresh start here instead of focusing on the the off-field bullshit. Same with Lingard, lets see if he's got the same drive he had at West Ham when he was putting himself in the shop window. Now he's got the move is he just going to revert to being a dickhead.
