I know nothing about him, the YouTube video I saw showed potential and he looked capable of showing players up with fast feet - could we have the next Julio on our hands here? Maybe needs to work on that final ball into the box but hes a kid, has caps for his country from an incredibly young age and is most definitely an exciting signing, if not for now, surely for the quite near future. Could be a masterstroke this signing.
But saying as though you asked.. https://not606.com/threads/uniteds-...nearly-there-yet.373222/page-89#post-15616827
So that's one of the 4/5 AN has said he wanted. Say we want 3/4 more I'd reckon: CB, CM, ST What position do you think the other position would be? I'd go for another full back or CM. Can also see Dajaku and Diamond going out on loan.
Agree he needs to work on his final ball. I watched a couple of his matches after we were linked with him and what stood out was his ability to beat an opponent- he is explosive from a standing start. He also gets himself into the box which i love seeing wingers do - id def excited to see how he develops with us
Id agree with you, RB n 2xCM plus cb n cf who can also play wider. Loan dajaku matete n hume out then sell winchester n diamond
He isnt leaving us for stoke and if he really wanted too it wouldnt matter if he was on a rolling contract or not! We would get a bit more compensation but that would be it, if a manager wants to leave theyll leave no.matter what contract they are on
He’s just saying that to take the pressure off him, if he was for the u21s they would’ve said so like they did for the Pye signing the other week. Why are you so negative all the time
If they double his wages he'll leave. Unlikely he'd stay for the crack. Just the real world. Getting a long contract in place means that he costs more to acquire, this lowering the wages potentially on offer
I actually think the best way of giving Bennette time and helping him to settle is to do the opposite of that and throw him right in. The lad is 18, on another continent and doesnt speak the language. the only thing he knows is football. let him play. he'll acclimatise quicker and better if he's playing rather than watching. has to be good enough to play of course.
I'd agree with this. Let him get on with playing, which will be the most familiar thing to him. Unfortunately, I think we'll only see him coming off the bench until we change to a back four.
Stoke are really stung financially at the moment I think. Will struggle to offer bumper contracts. I think they’ll get Chris Hughton in. Cheap but experienced.
I wonder how many managers we'll get sacked this season because the "established" clubs think they "should be easily beating sides like Sunderland"
