Broad-brush thinking: Sunak himself admitted earlier this summer that paying above RPI to nurses, the police, and the armed forces wouldn't necessarily drive inflation as they play no part in the value chain of goods and services. It WOULD, of course, mean higher borrowing, but it's not the same as saying that paying rail workers (and rail directors and shareholders) is ultimately paid for in higher ticket prices, and that would raise the price index (unless they too are funded by the taxpayer, like the directors' bonuses and shareholders' dividends -£25bn in 26 years- are funded in real terms by taxpayer subsidies that have tripled since privatisation).

How the BBC has been nobbled (it's chairman donated £400k to the Tories, FFS), yet the right-wing press still have their forelock-tugging, gammon base belly-aching that it's somehow 'lefty' when it patently ****ing isn't.

I'm trying to decide if you really do find life and comprehension so bemusing, that reality rattles around in your empty head to produce these fantasies you post, or if you really are just a **** troll. <laugh>

Your attempts at imitation are flattering, it's just such a shame you're as **** at them as you are at trying reinvent my posts. <laugh>

Seriously aldo, having me living inside your head as you do, really isn't good for your health, and I'm sure others find it as boring as I do.

He never will, he thinks it's funny.

Don't waste your time on the sad sack, would be my advice.

And what advice would you give to people who have to scroll through pages of pointless ****e twitter spam to read the thread?

'He' doesn't, he finds Aldo's stalking rather tedious.

Hopefully he'll be one of the few on here that bothers to read your posts, and maybe he'll even take your advice and just ignore me. <ok>

Interesting thread, and you read it here first (if you're not ****ing stupid).

Rather than nationalising the failed energy companies, suggestions are that the taxpayer will fund a £100bn bailout of the energy companies to keep bills capped at £2k per year. You're probably right to assume that directors' bonuses, shareholders' dividends and donations to the Tory Party will continue unabated. :emoticon-0112-wonde

And if we nationalise failing companies who do you think picks up the bill?

Hmm, you have to question the mentality of someone that sets out to glue their hands to the road, and has the 'foresight' to take a bottle of water with them in case they get thirsty. <laugh>

The imaginary friend he prays to doesn't seem to be as helpful as the Policeman.
