Because we are about to sign two players after we offered clearly the exact amount they had been asking for all along. Everyone on this board is just absolutely obsessed with being right about everything 24/7 and arguing til they're dead about tiny pointless things. It's nice that you're absolutely satisfied, and sometimes Roland gets on my nerves too. But his complaints were perfectly valid, we didn't sign the targets we were confirmed after earlier in the window because we weren't urgent enough and didn't offer the correct amounts. Wilson being injured has caused a strategy shift that many on here have been wanting for WEEKS. DPP's point is 100% right.

Hopefully Isak coming in will be a statement of intent and some of the other deals we have in mind will start to fall into place. Pedro, Maddison, Gallagher, Paqueta etc.
