Of course it's not STILL embarrassing, because we've moved and signed players we need. But should we therefore not be allowed to pass comment on a transfer thread until the end of the window? Should we not be able to use that thread to express feelings, hopes, fears, etc.?
Yes indeed you can do mate because this is the whole point of this. And you have just been served up an early Christmas present.
This is a problem at the moment, we have very few options for generating any decent revenue from player sales. At least without selling 1st team players and that's not part of the grand plan to grow the club. We really need to offload some dead wood, but we'll have to virtually give them away.
No problem with passing comments on rumours, transfers, who you want or who you don’t want etc but slagging off the owners (in this case) before the window is shut, to me, wasn’t merited. IMO It was not only premature but showed a total lack of understanding as to how transfers are worked both with the negotiating with the selling club and the persuading of the player that we are his best option. That being said it’s a free world and I wouldn’t stop you from saying what you want but then again I should be able to say “I told you so” I told you so.
You and me both Weve been a bit ****, could do with some decent midfielders but sounds like will be next summers targets. Until then have to hope we get a few of our injured lot back (albeit ox and Keita are constantly injured so holding no hope on them).
Some guy on total sport watches Spanish footy, just poopood Izak, saying he's not that good, only an upgrade on wood, doesn't get himself about enough, not aggressive enough, 60m is way too much etc etc.... Sounded like a makem to me like
As a one-off we'll do you a group deal of Shelvey, Longstaff x2 plus Murphy for the bargain price of £100m.
please log in to view this image Hope not! Could be a 4-3 from the olden days, hopefully in our favour this time!
Just like we’ve done the same when Shelvey was injured? I’ve no doubt this deal has been worked on, along with a few others, for months to try and get the right player at the right price. The last part may have been sped up by a few days but it definitely wasn’t a ‘reactionary’ “knee jerk” purchase at all if that’s what you are suggesting.
lol Shelvey was already 4th/5th choice whereas Wilson is first choice. I think they have been very naive going round in circles. Ekitike, Isak, Harrison, Maddison back to Garrison, back to isak
