Buzzing for Cirkin, if you ask most Spurs fans we didn’t wanna sell him. Knew he had the talent, definitely someone with Premier League potential. Clarke was never given a fair shot here when we signed him and then we ballsed it up by sending him on some dumb loans. Good to see he’s also doing well.
Arsenal have retained a long-term interest in the 25 year-old and it may be the case that they have been waiting as late as possible in the transfer window to drive the asking price down. While it would not leave Leicester long to find a replacement https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/...al-transfers-news-tielemans-leicester-7498179 @FosseFilberto
When the new owners came in, there were genuine moves to sign players that people would conventionally think we're big name signings for big money. 60m offer upfront for Diego Carlos comes to mind. That fell through and instead Dan Burn was signed for a pittance. Who's been one of our outstanding performers since. That money was diverted to sign Bruno, a top midfielder who now Real Madrid have an eye on. Diego Carlos signed for Villa and picked up a season long injury day one. We lack flash, and for some reason that disappoints neutrals but it's been working so far. Im critical of the owners on our board when it merits, but I wouldn't say considering the background moves to improve the clubs infrastructure and the improvements on the pitch, that so far it's so good
Probably the reason you won't be signing him Ponks ... we need depth on the bench... and if we don't have the time to bring in a replacement?
Number 3 ... so that we can let the very promising Jakub Stolarczyk go out on loan and get some proper game time experience
with a bit of luck. Last time we ruined the transfer market with a player it cost spurs £60m to buy him.
