Tight hamstring, not a big deal.

    Yet.

If this is true we need another. We cannot rely on Wood.

    He is ****ing useless.

Might be what kicked them into over gear on Pedro may be thinking this lad can come in and make an impact. Not sure he is what we need - good cover for the wide positions and I'd hope we go after Nketiah off Arsenal as a CF personally - signed a new contract to get more game time and he's managed 29 mins in the first 3 games. Lacazette leaving meant he was guaranteed cup and euro games but will he be happy with that? He would be guaranteed mins here in the prem and starter for probably 50% of the season.

Belotti still on a free from what I can see - 28 years old, goal contributions just shy of 1 in 2 throughout his career, international experience etc.

Pedro, Paqueta and Belotti would be a hell of an end to the window.

He's an aggressive, brutish striker for 5'11 and can score a header and physical but he's not fast, not great link up play but he can put the ball in the net. Would be an upgrade on Wood and good cover for Wilson.

Not fast and not great link up play? Great
Can score headers but sadly we don’t play with wingers

There is zero chance of signing Bellotti. Thankfully.

Howe still making the right noises. Expecting movement but probs not before the weekend. Think it’ll be a crazy week. Chelsea will look flash, Man U might do something big. Then there’s us.

He's a professional footballer, he can play a pass or two but he's not going to throw stepovers to break ankles and backheel flick a nut meg to send ASM through. He'd do on a free for the year and much better than Wood is basically my thought process on it. Like a say a goal contribution every 2 games is good going for someone closing in on 400 pro games.
£70-80m on Paqueta and Pedro maybe loan Pulisic or CHO and then Bellotti on a free would be great business.

No he's King George III, who has become increasingly eccentric and now believes himself to be "a small village in Lincolnshire, commanding spectacular views of the Nene valley"

How many of us called this **** by the way? I knew for a fact we needed a new no9 to give us Wilson as an option as PL quality backup.

Now we go into at least two matches with ****ing Wood leading the line and NO option from the bench.

Said it before and will repeat til it changes but this has been a poor window thus far.
