And I can not wait! I'm buzzing at the moment and I fancy us here to get a win and maybe a clean sheet. The key will be keeping Baines quiet, if we do that I don't see where they can hurt us.

They are a however a tough side to beat and who knows maybe Ben Arfa will be even more fired up than usual considering he ripped them apart last season.

Looking forwad to every game and I expect an unchanged lineup although it will be interesting to see if Tiote starts if he is fit because Guthrie has played great in the last two games.

To think that we could go 2nd with a win.

Sadly I don't think I'll be able to watch the game. I'm playing a final with my local team and the match starts at 11am :/

Hopefully we do well though. :D

I think we will get a win, they've been poor lately ,the team is on good form and Best and Ba are playing well.

I'm like this every game now, the day after a match and I can't wait for the next one. Haven't been like this really since Robson was in charge, great time to be a fan. Could go second with a win. :D

This is a big game, we've a tough run after this so it'll be nice to capitalise on this comparatively easy fixture.

Can't believe it's only tuesday, saturday can't come soon enough. Only wished that I could look forward to F1 as much but at the moment that is just too hard to watch.

Coming up for this game , really confident and excited!

As you said keeping Baines quiet will be important whilst we need to man mark Cahill at all times. Not only a good header of the ball but a decent goal poacher.

    I think we'll win 1-0.

    There team against United :

http://www.football-lineups.com/match/104561/ Osman playing in behind Saha? I guess it'll be Cahill this Saturday if he's fit, same with Drente replacing Billydicknovo. <whistle>

Main threats? A fully ''up for it'' Saha, Drente(very quick and has a cracking shot on him), Baines(set-pieces) and Fellani(height). Also special mention to Distin/Jags who are usually a rock at the back and Howard who's a excellent 'keeper despite being somewhat error-prone. <ok>

What's this with rating Baines all of a sudden. he has been piss poor at defending every time I have seen him, but good in attack I must say. He always lets shots in at the far post

I remember last season we were all confident of getting a result at home against Everton, and then they went and won, so i'm not getting too carried away.

I'd love to see Ben Arfa for Obertan.

Can only see a win for us on current form, just don't think Everton have enough these days . . . . . quality, money, anything

Feel quite sorry for Moyes or the fans, good side but unfortunately no support from the board. Can't really fault Kenwright though, think he's doing the best he can.

Tight game because they are a really good side imo, think we will edge it 2-1 though

Are people forgetting about Drenthe? I would say that the key is keeping him quiet. He's quality, and Simmo will have to be on top form to deal with him
