If they're going to sell they need to get a move on. Scrapping around with 70 million in your back pocket with a week (or less) to go to get replacements rarely works out well. I'll never forget when they signed Ade Panic-buy-ee
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been given approval by the club's owners to spend his way out of trouble - by chasing deals for Netherlands pair Frenkie de Jong, 25, of Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo, 23, as well as Ajax's Brazilian winger Antony, 22. (Sunday Mirror)
Gordon demanding the move to the Chavs 60 mill Drop him off @Peej Silly Yank getting rinsed left right n centre
In other news I’m preparing to match Jennifer Lawrence’s husband’s offer to lick her fart pipe out twice a week. I’m awaiting a reply to my email.
Championship striker. I think we'll just file this under 'as **** as Chris Wood' Billions and Billions, tho
Definitely the biggest disappointments of the window so far. Had me thinking they were gonna raid some of the big six for some solid squad players, instead they’re chasing around Championship or midtable Prem players.
Dunno whats more funny. Chavs fat yank owner spending 60m on some ginger tom dayley Or The peasants again losing one of their own to a better and bigger team
Disappointing cos everyone wanted us to go to **** like Everton have I imagine. When has raiding top six players seriously worked out for a team with new money. QPR is on the line
Agree with this, pal. I thought they'd bring in a couple of world class players, this window. Times have changed since Chelsea and City come to the fore. Pretty much every team is now owned by billionaires. Any fee or wage that Newcastle can afford, so can at least 5 or 6 other clubs in the league who are all far more of an attractive proposition than Newcastle. They're embarrassing themselves celebrating the signing of championship players. Cirkin and Clarke are really starting to excel now, btw. They're both standing out in the championship.
QPR were signing players that were finished at the top six clubs though, not genuine squad players and then spunked loads of dough on midtable fodder, even paid Chris Samba £100k a week where back then that was a madness.
Aston Villa have made some very good signings. They've just got a **** manager. Coutinho is exactly the sort of player I was expecting you to bring in.
