ffp isn’t just based on transfer spend and income though. United make **** loads of money through commercial revenue and match day so can spend more than say Everton chelsea city who don’t make that money
No but you.can only make so much loss per period. Revenue - all expenses so if utd have massive.**** off wages.and have spend 300mil on players (paper talk).then they can't turn round next summer and spend more. You are absolutely right that they can spend more than everton, my point is they can spend just as badly as everton. The question is how the brake gets applied to these clubs. Look at Newcastle. The authorities seem unwilling now (having realised they shouldn't have reversed the call on ownership) to let them artificially increase revenues to enable the massive spend, so they are still playing some.pretty bang average players. Tbh who knows where the line is by club but if utd do spend as much as they say then they have to get close to it. Same for chelsea. There's an orgy of new toy ball tickling going on there. Anything and everything shiny is being inserted.
Just a quick comment on europem leagues verses what we saw in England this weekend. Bayern absolutely hockeyed some small side this weekend Psg just absolutely hammered soem semi pro French side The deeply uncompetitve nature of these leagues where dominance is being actively colluded with must get boring on some level. Leeds beat cheslea 3-0. Absolutely tore the biggest spenders apart deservedly. The little bit of control the rules afford the other teams in the prem and fairer distribution of cash from TV allows this little bit of closer football... but only a bit The prem needs to see the type of things going on in the other leagues.and fight to prevent this uncompetitive stuff. City are on 4 out of 5 and likely to be 95+ points again. We've had decades of 1 or 2 team dominance but the odd team could rise, now there's so many state sponsored or oligarch teams it's getting impossible.
Yeah I saw that. I have no real feelings on the topic so... not worth a smart Alec comment and not worth a sympathetic one either.
Yeah I saw that. I really feel for the guy as its his last world Cup chance.... but then again he left us for bigger things and didn't work out.
Anyone seen the memes of man utd fans celebrating that maguire was going to cheslea? I cannot wait to see the memes of them riotting over man utd blocking the deal.
Nasty tackle on the Newcastle keeper by Hemmings of Tranmere. Deffo red card, but he got away with a yellow. To be fair to the keeper he did not make a lot of it by rolling about as if he had been shot.
November is when this thing is on right? I'm presuming we are keeping Phillips due to konate injury. I'm presuming kelleher might even be back. Milner is no 3 Jota will need some games? Jones might even be bothered. Kind of struggling to get an 11 together for this due to all the loans.
