City shape is atrocious. Newcastle just exploiting space down the sides where both full backs are so far tucked in. Just giving them an easy out ball and immediately allows them to run to city’s defence.
Decent game and Newcastle look as if they can cause City problems every time they go forward. Still think City will win though.
Interesting stuff. Certainly accepting the space city offer is working for Newcastle. But it's still 66% possession for city so its really newcastle stunning them and not really like the other games we have seen this weekend so far. We will see now the city response.
Don't know why teams haven't done this more to Citeh. They've always looked iffy when teams put them under pressure and have runners running at their defenders. Too many have tried to approach Citeh like they approach us, sit back and hope for a break away, which suits Citeh down to the ground.
