"Allahyar (Sayyadmanesh) is out for sure. He has a tear which will keep him out for weeks. We can't say exactly (how long) yet. It's not good news, but I have to accept it." "We'll see if they (Ryan Longman and Tyler Smith) have a good session tomorrow. They're trying their best, but let's see how close they are." "I'm not happy (with the injury situation). It could definitely be better. Let's see tomorrow if we can get someone (back) for this game (against West Brom)." Shota
Do we have to question training methods.... just bad luck.... or the fact that we are squad numbers poor which is making the injury situation worse...
Have methods changed since the second half of last season? Injuries like the ones were seeing are usually just bad luck.
Just Longman and Smith back next week according to Shota. At what point do we start asking questions about Seri?
I find it odd that he got injured and very little’s been said about it or his return. As soon as Allahyar got injured, Shota said 4-6 weeks.
Do we just have incredible bad luck with injuries or is there something we’re doing in training or poor conditioning? **** knows what’s wrong with Seri. Tufan, Ally and Traoré all hamstring injuries. Sinik crocked in training. It’s just ridiculous at this point.
I read before that Seri had a heavy groin, no doubt there are some fitness issues from players needing to quickly get in shape for the season. Would help if they kept in shape in the off season, particularly considering the heavy fixture load at the start.
I fear Seri is long term. Was his condition not put to the powers that be in the post match interviews? Sounds like another Jimmy Bullard situation to me.
I thought prior to Mcann we had a lot of injuries and then we seemed to have a good year or so but now it looks like we’ve got too many players who are underprepared for a new season. Did I read that city weren’t doing lots of fitness - but mainly ball work ? Surely getting your hammies and calves etc ready is a priority. Fast players have always trodden a fine line . Micheal Owen suffered quite a bit I recall.
