Bristol City vs Cardiff City live: One change as Joe Williams comes in for the suspended Sykes Allt he build-up, live match action and reaction as the Robins take on Cardiff in the Severnside derby https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-cardiff-city-live-7491222
Good move in my opinion, our wing backs play higher than normal. And 2 natural WB on subs bench could come on if needed. Just need Joe Williams to save his booking till later, so he keeps his aggressive nature. When he got booked early against Sunderland he went quiet after. Who will be first to give COD a boot to put him off today?
Bentley saved us from going a goal down, great goal from Conway assisted with a great cross from Wells (commentator doing my head in calling him Nicky) And cracking attempt by Weimann, smashing the underside of the bar.. deservedly 1-0 up..HT..
Good first half - Bristol City v Cardiff City-Cardiff defenders look good in the air but dodgy on the ground. Keep it on the floor and play around them second half.
Even though I’m close to the Atyeo end, what was the Massengo disallowed goal for? Did he tap the gk or just head it out his hand?
Half-time ratings Dan Bentley - 7 Zak Vyner - 7 Kal Naismith - 7 Rob Atkinson - 8 Alex Scott - 7 Jay Dasilva - 7 Joe Williams - 7 Han-Noah Massengo - 8 Andi Weimann - 7 Nahki Wells - 7 Tommy Conway - 8 (Bristol Post)
Yes! Always happier with a second goal given how we struggle to see games out. Poor goal to concede from Cardiffs standpoint
Fantastic win - well done NP and the lads - no last minute collapse for a change - we kept pressure on the whole game. brilliant!
A superb and well deserved win, with another clean sheet to boot. Really impressive today as Cardiff are not a poor side, the starting 11 and shape are the way to go, I said at HT against Sunderland we need Wells in that front 2 over Martin, his pace and link up play gives defenders a lot of problems. Some big performances from several players today.
