Listening to Burnsey's interview wth Acun, he said what I also felt, that they got the rub of the green for the first goal whereas we didn't when Oscar attempt hit the post. The own goal changed the game, coupled with Tufan injury it was one of those games things didn't go our way. Nevertheless, 2W/2D/1L in the first 5 games is much more than we could have hoped for, particularly with all the injuries we are carrying.

Positives to take, Oscar scoring 2 really good goals, now the top scorer in the league, and Tetteh 2 assists, that partnership is looking as if it is starting to work. We certainly didn't give up and kept going, which is a plus. Woods look to have a tidy game when he came on, and clearly has an eye for a pass, as seen with his through ball to Oscar's attempt in the first half. Williams was unlucky with his attempt hitting the crossbar, but overall didn't really show much.

We are off to a better start than expected, and now have a week recover and get some players back and hopefully 2 or 3 new additions. The future is bright, let's not get hung up on one bad result.

I thought it was a selling point for Greaves to sign the new contract that he'd be the captain for the majority of the season

I thought it should have been Greaves anyway

Coyle is good person to have around the dressing room, hence his help in getting Tufan settled in off the field, but he does look a bit of a weak link, he seems to get caught out too often for me. I think we do need a better quality right back, which if it happens will promote Jacob to be captain by default.

As a player Coyle is a weak link at this level. However good in the dressing room it is what matters more on the pitch.

Well that was a bit of a clusterfuck, wasn't it. WBA finished the chances Norwich couldn't.

Positives? Oscar's remembered where the net is.

There seems to be a weird perception over where we are right now. We've had 4 great results but that has very much papered over the cracks. We're operating with a squad of about 11 outfield players, it's probably not even that now we've lost Allahyar and Tufan. When expected to play 3 games in a week, our luck was always goings to run out.

The positive thing is that none of the injuries are particularly long term so by the time the international break arrives, we should have most back bar Traore. If we're still in the top half by then, which is 6 games away. I think we can be pretty chuffed

The other positive is that for the weekend, Salah & Pelkas should both be in the squad, so that will give us a lift, as will the return of Longman and even Smith.

Inevitable given that we were starting to look hard to break down. We come up against a side that previously struggled to hit a cow's arse with a banjo. The truth is that this spanking might have happened in our earlier games this season if opponents had been clinical enough to get an early goal. Positives are we still have points we probably didn't expect. 4 from last 3. I'd have taken that a week last Friday and no mistake. I thought we could lose all three. It's a shock to the system but we go again. Come on Hull!

Absolutely. Beat Coventry at home with a great atmosphere behind us, and we are back on it. UTT!

I didn’t see the match burnsy but talking to a mate who went he said that winger was excellent for them, Diangana?

maybe Coyle wasn’t so bad just up against an outstanding talent. That’s when you need tweaks in the formation to help Coyle out.

Diangana is very good but Coyle also isn't very good at this level. We just need a decent RB.

Tweaking a formation to cover for Coyle, when the formation has been working just doesn't make sense. You've got to remove the weak links

Paid £20 million for him ish I think. Coyle been good last few games, not sure why he’s now being labelled a league 1 player
