Glad AN mentioned how good Cirkin was in his post match interview. Think he’s been absolutely quality since he came in and won’t have anyone say otherwise. Remember having a full blown argument with a clown who sat behind me last season who was giving him ****e every game saying he was nowhere near good enough. Looks so comfortable on the ball for a young lad who’d never played blokes football before last season and defensively is solid. If we had a right footed Cirkin on the other side of the pitch I’d be over the moon.

Never looked to have an obvious weakness to me mind. And, as any good player has to, he seems to learn and get better. Very, very good signing.

Still hasn't signed a contract extension tho? We could lose him for nothing...unless I've got it all wrong like. Whatever he's earning now we need to quadruple it. He's more than earned it.

Pickford got an assist today for Everton's late equaliser, another one of our old players who done something of note today.

Cirkin just gets better and better. MOTM today for me

I watched on the stream today and here is what I saw:

The SAFC fans were tremendous. All I could hear was Sunderland fans. Respect to all of you who travelled. Immense.
We are definitely short of quality and experience in CM. Matete and Embo were seriously overrun in the first 45.
Patto is getting better and better
Cirkin is going to be some player
We still need to get some fitness and sharpness - Stoke were half a yard quicker all over the park for most of the match. That's also why we picked up as many yellows as we did - half a yard too slow and had to foul.
SAS are our best weapon
Our best attribute though is the fighting spirit of the team. That won us the game, and is probably the biggest plus of all.

I genuinely enjoyed the game. Nervy though, until about 65 minutes in when we had control. It was when we had Evans and Bailey on (experience in key positions).

Back home after another cracking away day. Great to catch up with friends again. Fortunate in the 1st half we just didn’t turn up and going in 1 up was a massive bonus. Cracking subs from the manager at half time and although we didn’t dominate the game we had much more of an attacking threat and could have scored a couple more. We are going to give defences big problems all season with LND and simms and clarke who is proving a cracking buy. Midfield still a worry for me and is a definite area to strengthen. Everyone of the players grafted hard and gave everything once again. Big shout to Cirkin great game great prospect. Absolutely delighted with 3 points . It’s great to be around our club at the minute. Haway the lads. Keep the faith lads and lasses. Whisky time :1980_boogie_down:
