If you let your dog **** in the street you can get up to an £80 fine , rightly so but if you allow thousands of gallons of raw sewage to be pumped into the sea you get a tax break A Blue Flag was once a thing to be celebrated for our coastal towns now it should be a Brown Flag to warn the people that raw sewage is present I walk my dog along a stream / river called the Ver ,it was always so clear and flowed strong , this week it is barely trickling and the deep pools along which I would often stop to watch a King Fisher if I was lucky is now green and still , no sign of the abundant bird life or the fish , it is a disgrace Streams are the life blood to so much of the wildlife and they are abused by the water companies
