I want them all gone, Martin and the yanks. The yanks have done sweet FA since they took over the club’s ownership.
With the best will in the world (and I gave it RM last season) it's now looking like a hard slog this season.
We are cannon fodder under RM, he is clueless and out of his depth, the new Championship whipping boys.....
We are so easy to play against, our game plan is none existent, the players don't look confident in what they are doing, no strategy that I can see to break the opposition down, and a shocking defence to boot, I will give Martin another 6 games before he is history......
6 more games. If we give him that long we could be cut adrift at the bottom of the table. We’re well and truly on relegation form. No more excuses he’s had a pre season and we look absolutely gash.
But who do they replace him with? I think our run of new manager gems (that bugger off anyway) could be over. Edit: I think a Sean Dyche type was mentioned by someone before. Maybe a back to basics approach to solidify things wouldn't be a bad idea.
We’ve played 3 games at home this season and conceded 7 goals - we’ve failed to score in 2 out of the 3. relegation form
So they had 25% possession and over twice as many shots on target. This very same stat is getting boring now.
There appears to be no direction from within. There is also a strong possibility here that "he" is not wanted by the players. No confidence in him. I'm the same.
Any manager can coach the players to "retain possession at all costs". It's meaningless when there's no creative thinking to supplement it. If you think about it it's actually detrimental as we're giving goals away as a direct result of faffing about with no intent.
Just got back in …… My son tells me that’s 7 home Championship matches without a win ….. My take on the match ….. Players are coached to play in a certain way. If you buy enough League One players, don’t be surprised if you end up in League One. Arguably, our best CB is training with the Under 18s Our pacy attacking players are out on loan as they don’t blow smoke up the Manager’s arse ….. Why play a left footed player at right back and a right footed player at left back? As for individual players: Wood - dodgy at this level, and lacking in confidence Sorinola - will he ever be any good at this level? Darling - should be ok at this level, but needs an old head around him to build confidence and experience Piroe - looks disinterested Ntcham - flatters to deceive Obafemi - received no service Joey - best Swans player by a country mile
I know but I don't want to be criticised for being too hasty so early in the season, but it's not looking good at all......
Dismal start, and a complete lack of strategy and purpose, not looking good, what the hell do these players do in training?
