GOAL FOR POMPEY !!!!!! 3-1 now, with a goal from Owen Dale. 90 + 2 minutes. Joe Pigott lays the ball off for Dane Scarlett, who whips in a fine cross that Owen Dale converts with a diving header. His first Pompey goal since joining us from Blackpool.
Final whistle. 3-1 for Pompey. ......Three well deserved points, against an aggressive Brizzle Rovers side.
He has looked a very good young player since joining us on loan from Spurs. He deserves a goal himself
I thought that Bristol Rovers may have had Pompey playing into their trap. Fortunately, it seems kept their heads and found that extra gear to win the game. Hope Thompson recovers soon.
Who could replace Thompson in the current set up. Swanson? How far away is Morrell away from full fitness. Perhaps it is important to keep Tunnicliffe now.
Great to hear, mate. We’ve got massive hopes for him. Just glad he’s getting some decent game time, goals will almost certainly come once he’s settled.

No problem, as we have both Tom Lowery and Jay Mingi good enough to replace him. Also there is Joe Morrell who is almost fit.
A good game to watch (on ifollow). We had a bit of luck with the penalty shout Bristol Rovers had turned down but deserved to win. In some previous games we have benefited by taking a high percentage of our chances. This game we created plenty but had difficulty finishing. The most pleasing thing is that our play appears to be coming much more cohesive. PUP
