Yeah but he was one of the free transfers under McCann we signed to flesh out the squad. Think decisions will have been made. Nice lad, got some talent, just not Championship quality.
He's a League One player, lovely lad and everything, but he's absolutely not up to playing at this level.
We have made a dodgy WBA look good here by inviting pressure through a complete inability to take control of the ball and keep it. Just like in every other game this season (and pre-season). No wonder players keep getting injured and look leggy.
We've have the chances to draw and possibly win this game, it isn't a 5-2 loss and on another day it wouldn't have been. Just think about how good we can/should be once all the players are back! Some many reasons to be positive
I like that despite being on the receiving end of a scalping and it being a bad day, we haven’t totally capitulated. Oscar got his two goals and there’s signs of us playing some decent football. I agree that Coyle in particular was poor today but Fig and Greaves didn’t cover themselves in glory either. Hopefully some new signings and returning players from injury and we’ll bounce back against Cov.
