Having been out of touch with things for a couple of days, I was surprised and delighted to see what had happened in that 48 hours. First and foremost JG signing a new contract is brilliant news, I always felt he was just hanging out for the best deal possible, but of course, there is always that awful feeling you have that he might be tempted if a good offer came in from another club. Both the signing of Woods and M'Hand look very good business, really this window has been everything we hoped it might be and more. When all these players and up and running and others back from injury we are going to have a very strong squad, and have every chance of competing at the top end of the table.
I don't know what argument you're trying to start, but the post you started this with was suggesting I'm arguing we're close to FFP limits when that was you. Move on.
You really do need a new obsession. Or I'll have to start charging rent. The comment about keepers was permanent keepers on the books, regardless of whether they're out on loan or not, and no one even had Robson in the discussions. Again, move on.
If they have the money good on them for spending it and trying to be competitive, would rather that than Norwich. But hopefully they do have the money and things don't go wrong.
Great for forest if they stay up for 2 seasons it’s worth 300m danger is if they don’t but. Then again Marinokas can afford it, apologies for not getting his name right but can’t be bothered to Google it
If it keeps them up for a few seasons, it's completely worth it. On paper, the signings look pretty impressive, so if they can break even on them over the next few years, it'll be seen as outstanding business
Plus I'm not sure if that's calculated on total transfer or on base, as there'd be a lot of add-ons including survival for some like MGW.
Even going there as a no2 is better for him then staying here. He'll be involved in all the match day squads, first choice if injury happens, being away from his home base, getting roughed up a little in lower league games etc... He'll learn a lot this season from it
Re Forest spending Just a few years ago newly-promoted Fulham spent north of £100 million and still went down.
There's no Damsgaard so not a surprise. They're still missing Canos too and still want another attacker. No doubt we'll have to be patient
